About DNA Creative Productions Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, DNA Creative Productions is the husband-and-wife partnership of Dexter Bacchus and Andaiye Qaasim. Our name not only reflects our partnership (D&A) but also pays homage to the creative power and potential stored in all of us through the collective power of our ancestors—our actual DNA. Our logo features the Akan Adinkra symbol Nkyinkyim, which means "Life's journey is twisted," representing the versatility, initiative, and adaptability needed in both life and the creative process. This symbol holds a special place for us, as it also visually evokes the word "Love" when turned on its side, a nod to our foundation in Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly Love.
